Infinix, the popular smartphone manufacturer, has recently introduced three new models under the Hot 40 series, namely Hot 40, Hot 40 Pro, and Hot 40i. All these phones come equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery and the XBoost Gaming Engine feature to enhance the gaming experience.
Infinix Hot 40 Pro
The Infinix Hot 40 Pro stands out as the powerhouse within the Hot 40 series, featuring the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. The device boasts a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
In terms of cameras, the Hot 40 Pro is equipped with a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring impressive 108MP (main) and 2MP (macro) lenses. The front camera is a 32MP selfie shooter housed in a punch-hole design with the Magic Ring feature for quick notifications and device status.
Running on XOS 13.5 based on Android 13, the Infinix Hot 40 Pro comes with the X-BOOST gaming mode. Regarding charging, Infinix claims that the 33W charger included can charge the 5,000mAh battery from 20% to 75% in just 35 minutes. The Hot 40 Pro is available in four color options: Palm Green, Gold, Black, and Sky Blue.
Infinix Hot 40
Similar to the Pro version, the standard Infinix Hot 40 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging and a 6.78-inch LCD display. However, the Hot 40 display supports a 90Hz refresh rate instead of 120Hz. Another difference lies in the main camera setup, with the Hot 40 featuring a 50MP (main, f/1.6) and 2MP (macro) dual-camera configuration. The device also sports a 32MP front camera with the Magic Ring feature.
For performance, the Infinix Hot 40 is powered by the Helio G88 12nm chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and internal storage options of 128GB or 256GB. The color choices for the Hot 40 match the Pro version: Blue, Gold, Black, and Emerald Green.
Infinix Hot 40i
The Infinix Hot 40i is positioned as the most budget-friendly phone in the series. It features the Unisoc T606 chipset with an octa-core CPU comprising two performance Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.6GHz. The device sports a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
Memory options for the Infinix Hot 40i include 4GB/8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage. Although the phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery, the charging power has been reduced to 18W.
The Hot 40i camera setup mirrors that of the Hot 40 and Hot 40 Pro, with a single 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front camera with the Magic Ring feature. The device runs on Android 13 with the XOS 13.0 user interface.
Currently, Infinix has not disclosed pricing information for the Hot 40 series. However, the company has stated that these devices will be priced under $200.
